View Application Resource Usage

This section introduces how to view application resource usage.

Prerequisites

  • You should join a cluster and have the Monitoring Viewing permission within the cluster. For more information, refer to "Cluster Members" and "Cluster Roles".

  • WhizardTelemetry Monitoring should have been installed and enabled.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Monitoring Viewing permission, and access your cluster.

  2. Click Monitoring & Alerting > Application Resources in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the Application Resources page, click the Resource Usage tab to view cluster resource usage, application resource usage, and the number of projects.

    ParameterDescription

    Cluster Resource Usage

    The amount of CPU and memory resources used in the current cluster.

    Application Resource Usage

    The number of deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Jobs, CronJobs, persistent volume claims, services, Ingresses, and pods created in the current cluster.

    Number of Projects

    The number of projects in the current cluster.

    • Click the line charts in Cluster Resource Usage and Application Resource Usage to view detailed information about resource usage over time.

    • Click timed-task in the upper right corner to set the time range.

    • Click start/pause in the upper right corner to enable/disable real-time data refresh.

    • Click refresh in the upper right corner to refresh data manually.
