View Custom Monitoring Dashboard Details

This section introduces how to view a custom monitoring dashboard.

Prerequisites

You should join a cluster or a project and have the Monitoring Viewing permission within the cluster or the project. For more information, refer to "Cluster Roles" and "Project Roles".

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Monitoring Viewing permission and enter your cluster or project.

  2. Click Monitoring & Alerting > Custom Monitoring in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click the name of a custom monitoring dashboard in the list to open the dashboard.

    • View text-displayed monitoring metrics in the left area of the page.

    • View line charts or bar charts of monitoring metrics in the middle area of the page.

    • Click chevron-right on the right side of the page to view sub-metrics of each monitoring metric and their maximum, minimum, average, and last sampled values within the specified time range.

    • Click theme at the top of the page to switch between light and dark themes.

    • Click calendar-dark at the top of the page to set the time range of the data.

    • Click refresh-dark at the top of the page to set the refresh interval of the data.

    • Click close in the upper right corner of the page to return to the custom monitoring dashboard list.
