Edit Alert Rules

This section describes how to edit alert rules in a rule group.

Note

KubeSphere only supports editing custom rule groups, not built-in rule groups.

Prerequisites

  • WhizardTelemetry Alerting should have been installed and enabled.

  • You should join a cluster or a project and have the Rule Group Management permission within the cluster or the project. For more information, refer to "Cluster Roles" and "Project Roles".

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Rule Group Management permission and enter your cluster or project.

  2. Click Monitoring Alerting > Rule Groups in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the Rule Groups page, click Custom Rule Groups or Built-in Rule Groups to open the rule group list.

  4. Click more on the right side of the rule group you need to edit, and then select Edit Alert Rules from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Edit Alert Rules dialog, edit existing alert rules or create new alert rules, and then click OK.

    • Hover over an existing alert rule and click the toggle switch to enable/disable the alert rule.

    • Hover over an existing alert rule and click trash-light to delete the alert rule.

    • Hover over an existing alert rule and click pen to modify the settings of the alert rule.

    • Click Add Alert Rule to create a new alert rule.
