Delete Custom Rule Groups

This section describes how to delete alerting rule groups.

Note

KubeSphere only supports deleting custom rule groups, not built-in rule groups. You can reset built-in rule groups.

Warning

Rule groups cannot be recovered after deletion, so please proceed with caution.

Prerequisites

You should have the platform-admin role on the KubeSphere platform. For more information, see Users and Platform Roles.

Delete a Single Rule Group

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user having the platform-admin role.

  2. Click grid in the upper-right corner of the page and click Whizard Observability Center.

  3. Click Global Alerts > Custom Rule Groups in the left navigation pane.

  4. Click more on the right side of the rule group you need to delete, and then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  5. In the Delete Rule Group dialog, enter the name of the rule group, and then click OK.

Delete Multiple Rule Groups

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user having the platform-admin role.

  2. Click grid in the upper-right corner of the page and click Whizard Observability Center.
