    KubeSphere Network

    This section introduces how to use the "KubeSphere Network" extension to manage network policies and pod IP pools for a cluster, as well as network isolation configurations for workspaces and projects.

    The "KubeSphere Network" extension includes two components: network policy and pod IP pool. Using this extension, you can control access to and from pods in the cluster and projects; when creating workloads or jobs, by selecting a Pod IP Pool, you can allocate IP addresses to pods, ensuring that each pod has a unique IP address.

    After installing the "KubeSphere Network" extension,

    • The Network menu in the left navigation pane of the cluster will display Network Policies and Pod IP Pools options;

    • The Basic Info page in the left navigation pane of the workspace will support enabling workspace network isolation;

    • The Project Settings menu in the left navigation pane of the project will display the Network Isolation option;

    • When creating workloads or jobs, the Advanced Settings tab will display the Pod IP Pool option.
