Delete Volume Snapshots

This section describes how to delete a volume snapshot.

Warning

Volume snapshots cannot be recovered after deletion. Please proceed with caution to avoid data loss.

Prerequisites

  • KubeSphere Storage should have been installed and enabled.

  • You should join a cluster or a project and have the Volume Snapshots Management permission within the cluster or the project. For more information, refer to "Cluster Roles" and "Project Roles".

Delete a Single Volume Snapshot

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Volume Snapshots Management permission, and enter your cluster or project.

  2. Click Storage > Volume Snapshots in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click more on the right side of the volume snapshot you want to delete, then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Delete Volume Snapshot dialog, enter the name of the volume snapshot, then click OK.

Delete Multiple Volume Snapshots

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Volume Snapshots Management permission, and enter your cluster or project.

  2. Click Storage > Volume Snapshots in the left navigation pane.

  3. Select the checkbox on the left side of the volume snapshots you want to delete, then click Delete above the volume snapshot list.

  4. In the Delete Multiple Volume Snapshots dialog, enter the name of the volume snapshot, then click OK.

    Note

    Please separate multiple names using a comma (,) and a space.
