View Volume Snapshot Content List

This section describes how to view the volume snapshot content list.

Prerequisites

  • KubeSphere Storage should have been installed and enabled.

  • You should join a cluster and have the Volume Snapshot Contents Viewing permission within the cluster. For more information, refer to "Cluster Members" and "Cluster Roles".

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Volume Snapshot Contents Viewing permission, and access your cluster.

  2. Click Storage > Volume Snapshots in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click Volume Snapshot Content on the Volume Snapshots page to open the volume snapshot content list.

    • The volume snapshot content list provides the following information:

      ParameterDescription

      Name

      The name of the volume snapshot content.

      Status

      The status of the volume snapshot content.

      • Ready: The volume snapshot content has been successfully created, and the snapshot data has been saved to the backend storage system.

      • Not Ready: The volume snapshot content is being created or is being deleted.

      Capacity

      The capacity of the persistent volume corresponding to the volume snapshot content.

      Volume Snapshot Class

      The volume snapshot class used to create the volume snapshot.

      Deletion Policy

      The policy for handling the volume snapshot content when the volume snapshot is deleted. The deletion policy is set in the corresponding volume snapshot class.

      • Delete: The volume snapshot content is automatically deleted by the system after the volume snapshot is deleted.

      • Retain: The volume snapshot content is not deleted by the system after the volume snapshot is deleted.

      Creation Time

      The creation time of the volume snapshot content.

    • Select a project from the dropdown list at the top left of the list to view volume snapshot contents in a specific project.

    • Click the search box above the list to search for volume snapshot contents by name or status.

    • Click refresh in the upper right corner of the list to refresh the list information.

    • Click cogwheel in the upper right corner of the list to customize the information displayed in the list.
